Emotional regulation is an approach towards emotional well-being that involves an awareness of your emotional states before emotional states and immediately after emotional states. In its most simple form, emotional regulation is about you being able to effectively regulate your emotional states, thoughts,
and behaviors in the quest for long-term goals such as living a wealthy and prosperous life rather than living a life always plagued by feelings of constant frustration and unhappiness. Emotional regulation is based on the idea that there are seven emotional zones. These zones are associated with distinct cognitive processes and underlying physical processes and structures. The emotional zones are the stress zone, stress hormone zone, beta zone, alpha zone, beta waves, gamma zone, and theta zone.
When these zones are activated, the body goes into a physiological state of arousal, one of the essential factors for emotional regulation. The arousal in the body activates the relevant stress zone, and the appropriate stress hormones are released to deal with the physiological arousal.
Social connection theory is one of the most effective approaches to social connection in schools today. The theory is based on the idea that all humans share many common characteristics, including an interest in other people,
the ability to form relationships, a need for social approval, a need for security, a need for social approval, a need for companionship, a need for safety, a need for affection, a need for recognition, a need for having their personal space, a need for social connection, and an ability to take advantage of these shared characteristics.

Habits need to be analyzed related to motivation, habit formation, and their effects on behavior and motivation. Habits get you off to a running start in life or what triggers your full attention to what you are doing.
Now then, let’s consider habit-forming in the context of social media. One of the habits that people have formed over the last decade or so is that they spend at least an hour each day, on average, on Facebook, Twitter, Linked In, Google+, and a slew of other social media sites.
A cursory look at some of these social media sites would show you just how much time people are spending, not to mention how much time they are spending with the wrong type of people, so this would imply that perhaps you might want to think about how much time you are spending with the wrong types of people on your social media profiles, because if you are like most of us, then this could mean that you are spending too much time with the wrong types of people and you need to change.
